IN MEMORIAM
In memory of R. C. (Pete)
Lunsford who passed away 9
years ago - April 21, 1964.
Will the ache in our hearts
never cease?
As our memories of you come
sweeping
Through the meadows of our
minds
And leave us with the
emptiness from seeking
But never finding.
Then we once again face
reality and find you gone.
Oh, loved one where art thou?
Will time heal the wounds of
lasing you?
The memories only deepen
them now.
Help us, Lord.
Our hearts are so heavy with
grief.
Forgive us Lord as we ask why.
As we ask the meaning of all
this
And why he had to die.
Comfort us, Dear God.
Please help us to remember
that thou
Art the giver and taker of life.
Make us know your greatness,
Oh God,
And heal our sorrow and strife.
Make us humble.
Help us be just like the soul you
took away
As we follow you to our own
life’s end.
Then take our lives into your
hands
And reunite us once again.
In God we pray - Amen.
- Sadly missed by family.

fa lot
more
to it
now!
Bringing light to the dark areas was our first
job, sure. But that’s long been “mission accom
plished” for the Member-owned electric
systems.
Today, there’s the job of “heavying-up” our
lines to meet rapidly increasing demand. Of
taking an active part in the revitalizing of the
areas we serve. And helping work out a solu
tion to the problem of meeting our Nation’s
future needs for electric energy, at reasonable
cost, and still protect the earth on which we
live.
Our kind of cooperative enterprise is well
equipped to initiate and follow through on
programs which will benefit all Americans,
both urban and rural ... a balance of progress
we believe essential to everyone’s future!
