BLUE OF THE SKY
In blue of the sky
like a dome way up high
that covers my world overhead,
the top of my tree
done in fine filigree
shines bright like an etching of red!
The sun is all smiles
in his blue domiciles,
as he journeys above through the day
without fog, cloud, or haze
that might limit his gaze
at cerulean hues on his way!
As days come and go
when the stormy winds blow
in my world, all enshrouded in gloom,
may I never forget
my deep blue silhouette
of the sky in her lovely costume!
CARD OF THANKS
I wish to express sincere
appreciation and heartfelt
thanks to all those friends and
relatives who remembered me

calls, flowers, cards, food and
other kindnesses during my
stay in the hospital and at
home. Special thanks to Dr.
Howell and the staff at Sylvan
Grove Hospital, and to Mrs.
Gwen Mitchell for bringing me
to the hospital. Avery special
thanks to Mr. Eddie Joe Head,
who rescued me from my car
before it exploded. Each kind
deed will always be remember
ed. May God bless each and
everyone. - Mrs. Jeannette
