JUNIOR HIGH NEWS
The library of Henderson
Junior High has anew look,
thanks to the work of Mrs.
Edna Miller, librarian, and
her assistants.
Working during and after
school, and during the
Christmas vacation, Mrs.
Miller’s group painted all the
tables and chairs in shades of
green and yellow. Mrs.
Miller hopes the freshly
painted furniture will make
the library a more pleasant
place for students and
faculty.
The teachers from HJH
attended a Title 111 Workshop
in Columbus, January 27-29.
Mrs. Nancy Hall, director of
chorus, and Bill Moore, band
director, accompanied Mrs.
Mary Carr, federal coordina

included visits to various'
schools in the Columbus
area.

music teachers at least twice
a week and learn the
fundamentals of vocal and

The local teachers were

Plans are now beginning to

Genesis 3:9 The Lord
God called unto Adam and
said unto him, where art
thou?
This is a very good
question to you and me today
in this' troubled world. Where
are we as far as the Lord is
concerned? So many are as
the Prodigal son was down in
the hog pen of sin, eating the
scraps of satan, when God
wants us to feast at His table.
Jesus said unto his disciples:
come and dine; oh, he says
today to the hungry come and
eat, to the thirsty come and
drink, to the heavy laden
come unto me and rest; bring
me every burden; bring me
every care.
If you really think you’re
living without Jesus, you
should try living with Him.
He came that we would have
life and life more abundant
ly. A group of hippies went to
the funeral of one of their
buddies, who requested to be
buried in a Cadillac, as they
lowered it in the grave, one
hippie remarked, “Boy,
that’s living.” How ridicu
lous can you get? Really,
where are you?
