Horace Stewart, Jr., was
the guest of honor at a most
enjoyable covered dish lun
cheon on Sunday at the home
of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
James H. Stewart, Sr.
Mr. Stewart, Jr., a Navy
veteran of almost twenty
years, will retire from the
Navy in May when his
enlistment expires. Mr.
Stewart has been in Italy
aboard the U.S.S. Indepen
dence for the past six months
and arrived home last week.
He will be stationed in
Norfolk, Va. until his
discharge.
Mr. Stewart, his wife, Mrs.
Betty Lou Stewart and
children, Kathy, Elissa,
Cindy and Tommy, reside in
Calhoun.

CVAE CLUB HOST
SKATING PARTY
The CVAE Club of Jackson
High School has scheduled a
skating party for Thursday
night, February 6th, at Joel’s
Roller Rink to which the

will last for four weeks. Class
