Ellenwood Sunday. Mrs.
Spencer had just returned
from the hospital after
having surgery. While in
Ellenwood they also visited
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Swofford
Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Price
and family of Arlington
Texas spent several days last
week with Mr. and Mrs. T. H.
Price. Robyn, Jessica, Pam
and Alicia remained with
their grandparents for three
weeks visit while Mr. and
Mrs. Price made a trip to
Europe.
Visitors of Mrs. W. T. Mote
and Talley last week were
Mrs. Ruth Hooten, Mrs. B. H.
Hooten of McDonough, Mr.
and Mrs. C. L. Bradley, Mrs.
F. H. Morgan, and Mrs.
Bessie Cawthon.
Jenkinsburg neighbors and
friends were saddened Sun
day at the passing of Mr. M.
B. Farrar. He had been ill for
several months, but had been
at home for the past three
weeks after spending several
weeks in the hospital. He was
a lifetime resident of
Jenkinsburg and will be
missed by all who knew him.
Our deepest sympathy to the
bereaved family.

attended the Sacred Heart
Singing convention at Mt.
Zoin Church at Mt. Zion, Ga.
Sunday.

Atlanta Water Works Satur
day.
Friends and neighbors and
relatives welcomed Miss
Ruby Lane home last
Tuesday after four months
spent in Lambertville N. J.
with her sister Mrs. Mildred
Mangan. A covered dish
supper in her back yard
awaited her planned by Mrs.
Otis Mangham and Mrs. C.
W. Haley.
Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Haley
attended the Haley family
reunion that was held at
Avery Club House at Canton,
Ga. Sunday.

Buried At
Arlington
Master Mark Third, 15, of
3580 Raymond Drive, Dora
ville, died in a private home
Sunday afternoon, July 27th,
after a lingering illness. He
was the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Alexander C. Third Jr. of
Doraville.
Funeral services were held
Tuesday, July 29th, at 2
o’clock from Oglethorpe Hill
with Dr. Robert Marshburn
officiating. Interment was in
Arlington Memorial Park.
The young boy had been
under the care of Mrs. Viola
Camp, operator of a private
training home for the
retarded in Douglasville.
He is survived by his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C.
Third, Jr.; a brother, Dale
Third, Doraville; grand
parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C.
Third, Sr., Acworth; grand
mother, Mrs. J. F. Duffey,
Forsyth; several aunts,
(uncles ana cousins.
H. M. Patterson & Son,
Oglethorpe Hill, was in
charge of arrangements.
