GODSEY FAMILY
ENJOYS ANNUAL
YULE DINNER
On December 21st the Sam
and Josie Godsey families
held their annual Christmas
dinner at North Butts
Clubhouse. All of the children
were present with the
exception of Verner who lives
in Bushland, Texas.
Some of the grandchildren,
great grandchildren and
great-great grandchildren
were present. In one corner
of the room a large
beautifully decorated tree
illuminated the room. Tables
were laden with the most
delectable foods including
turkey, dressing and every
thing imaginable to go with
it. After everyone’s appetite
had been appeased and
tables cleared away, gifts
from under the tree were
passed out to the little ones.
Everyone enjoyed singing
Christmas carols with Mrs.
Randy Freeman at the piano.
Following the social period
everyone departed for home
with the wish that those
absent could have been in
attendance.

King who died Dec. 30, 1974.
Dear Lord, we lost some
one great when you chose our
Dads for your home.
It’s real lonely without
them here on earth.
But Father, we know
Heaven is sweeter
With two such precious
men.
And Lord, we’re looking
forward to meeting
Them there when our life
on earth shall end.
