SMITH FAMILY
HOLDS REUNION
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith
entertained the S. J. Smith
clan at a family reunion
December 28th at the
beautiful Smith home on
their large lake on RFD,
Monticello.
Christmas decorations
were prevalent throughout
the home. Large wreaths of
greenery were hung at the
doors, and the large, live
Christmas tree with blinking
lights was situated near the
fireplace, where logs were
burning.
At the noon hour a delicious
meal was served. Green
cloths covered the tables
which were centered with red
candles burning in Williams
burg lamps, surrounded by
wreaths of holly and red
berries.
Thirty-eight members of
the family enjoyed the
fellowship; however, several
were unable to be present.
CARD OF THANKS
I want to take this
opportunity to thank my
family, relatives, every
friend, every member of the
staff of Westbury, and any
one who in any way helped to
make my Christmas such a
glorious one! My health
wasn’t the best over the
holidays but it seemed with
every card or gift I received,
I’d feel just a little better,
just to realize there were
folks like you, who cared. I
pray that each of you had
wonderful holidays and that
God will keep you in his
precious care, until we can
all meet on the other shore.
May he continue to richly
bless you all is my daily
prayer. Love, Mrs. Alice
Williamson, Westbury Home.

of the Christmas Season was
the six o’clock dinner given
December 19th by Mrs. Pete
Ridgeway and Mrs. Oscar
Weaver at the Ridgeway
home, one of the most
beautiful in Butts County.
The dinner honored mem
bers of the Ladies Adult
Sunday School class of The

The attractive approach to
the home featured the
colorful outdoor decorations
and lighting. Inside, a large
live tree, beautifully deco
rated, beckoned a welcome
to the guests, who were
invited into the living room.
In the spacious den the
delicious dinner was served
by candlelight. Decorations
on the table included tall
lighted red candles surround

mistletoe and red berries.
Over the center of the
mantle hung a large and
beautiful lighted wreath. At

two large burning candles
and at the other end an old
family clock continued its
merry tic, toe. A small
wreath completed the central
decoration. Large burning
logs in the fireplace added
