whose funeral was held on

Mrs. Ina Cawthon has been
a patient at Sylvan Grove
Hospital for the past week.
She is expected to come
home early in the week.
Mr. Troy Allen was the
victim of a painful accident
last week. The large door in
the back of the truck he was
driving fell on his hand and
although no bones were
broken, it was badly crushed.
He is wearing it in a cast and
has been unable to go to work
for more than a week.

Church drove by bus over to
Crawfordville on Sunday,
March 28th, leaving about 10
o’clock on Sunday morning.
They visited the Jefferson
Davis Home and other places
of interest. They presented
the musical rendition “Fin
der’s Keepers”, in the
Baptist Church at Crawford
ville, returned home about 11
o’clock Sunday night. Cha
peroning the group were Mr.
and Mrs. Russell Price, Mr.
and Mrs. James Biles, Mrs.
Lena Bunch and Mrs.
Jeanette Cook. It was an
enjoyable trip for everyone
who participated.
Lee Speer, 2V 2 year old
grandson of Mr. and Mrs.
Hesper Stephens, is at home
after spending last week at
Grady Hospital. This makes
the fourth time Lee has had
surgery since birth.
