Monday for a visit of several
days with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd

for noonday dinner were

Mildred Smith and Mrs.
Lucille Gaines, all of Atlanta,
Mrs. Louis Banks of Bames
ville, Mrs. Emily Collins of
Jackson and Mr. and Mrs.
Jimmy White and children.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard
Campbell of Johnson City,
Tenn. visited Mr. and Mrs.
Perry O’Neal Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Ferrell spent Saturday and
Saturday night with Mr. and
Mrs. Pettie at Riverdale and
on Sunday Mrs. Ferrell was
honoree at dinner celebrat
ing her birthday. There was a
delightful meal featuring the
birthday with lighted can
dles.
Mrs. Jack Anthony of
Conyers was the weekend
guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jim
McMichael.
Mr. and Mrs. Cline Bradley
spent Friday night with their
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. E.
Holzer and family in Deca
tur. On Saturday they had
lunch at Morrison’s at the
airport with the Atlanta
transit retirees club. They
also visited Mr. and Mrs.
Eulis Sasbee at Morrow.
Mr. and Mrs. W. M.
Phillips of Griffin attended
worship services at Macedo
nia Church Sunday morning.
Mrs. Gwenelle Brand of
Atlanta was visiting in the
community during the week
end.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Martin of
Nashville, Tenn. spent Sun
day with Mr. and Mrs. F. H.
Morgan and family.
Dr. and Mrs. Jim Knowles
and children of Greenville, S.
C. were guests last weekend
of Mrs. J. A. Knowles, and
went to Macon to enroll their
daughter in Wesleyan Col
lege.
Mr. and Mrs. Phil Maddox
and children spent the
weekend in the mountains of
North Georgia, North Caro
lina, and Tennessee.

Mrs. Frances Wheeler and
children of Spartanburg, S.
C. were weekend visitors of
Mr. and Mrs. Dwight
Townsend.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Martin of Norwood spent
Saturday with Mr. and Mrs.
Jim O’Neal and Patty and
the two families visited the
Jarrell Plantation at Juliette
on Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene
Mitchell were hosts to a
congenial group of friends on
Sunday celebrating the birth
days of Mrs. Lucille Cook and
Mr. Raymond Waites. A
bounteous meal was served
on the patio, featuring a
beautiful yellow and white
birthday cake. Every family
brought a picnic lunch. Those
present included Mr. and
Mrs. Gene Mitchell, Genia
and Shelley, Mrs. Lucille
Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Ray
mond Waites, Mr. and Mrs.
H. G. Loyd and Mrs. Kenneth
Thompson and Eric of Locust
Grove.
