The publisher of The Southwest Georgian wants at least one thou
sand paid-in-advance subscribers by the first of next July. We expect
to have them. We believe the friends of the paper will help us to get
them. Every business man in Fort Gaines and every good citizen of
Clay county should, and does, want to see The Georgian prosper and
become one of the vital, powerful forces in the advancement of the
material interests of this section of Southwest Georgia. We have
