To the Citizens of the City of Douglas,
Ga.—Notice is hereby given that the State
of Georgia, through John V. Bennett
Solicitor General of the Brunswick Circuit,
lias filed petition in the name of the State
and against the City of Douglas, Ga., to
validate the issue of bonds voted by the
voters of Douglas on Sept. 19th, 1903. Said
issue of bonds to amount to Twenty Thous
and Dollars, (if 20.000) and to raise money
for the purpose of building and maintain
ing a system of water works and putting
in an electric light plant for said City of
Douglas, and that said petition will be
heard at Chambers at Waycross, Ga., on
November 2nd, 1993, at 10 o’clock a. m.,
this the 19th day of Oct. 1903.
