Mr. Jamie Rhodes ot Eufula, Ala., hal.l ticke t No. 46.755 iit the October Drawing of the Louisiana State Lot¬ tery, for which lie paid one dollar. It proved to be a lucky ticket, for it drew the capital prize of 8500,000, and enti¬ tled Mr. Rhodes to #15,000. If the ticket had been a whole one for which Mr. Rhodes had paid 820, he would heave received the whole .5800,060.
