Cecil B. Hyers
Passes Away at
Dublin Hospital
Cecil B. Hyers, 37, died Tues
day at the Dublin Veteran’s Hos
pital following an extended ill
ness.
He was a prominent citizen, a
, farmer, World War II Army vet-
eran and was engaged in the
furniture business. He was born
in Patterson and had lived there
all his life.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 10 a. m. at Patterson
Baptist Church by Rev-
Stanfield and Rev. II
Dixon. Burial will be in the citj
cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs.
Joyce Foster Hyers; one sister,
Mrs. Ernestine Wilcox, Savan
nah; three brothers, C. C., C. L.,
both of Patterson and J. C., of
Waycross.
