ROUGH FISH
UNTIL APRIL 1
Fishermen are warned not to
start trapping rough fish until in
structions are given April 1, it is
announced by Avery Rowell, game
ranger.
The legislature at the recent ses
sion provided for the trapping of
rough fish, beginning April 1, 1954,
but only under the supervision and
instructions of the game and fish
department.
It is still illegal — against the
law — to trap any kind of fish or
to sein, dynamite or poison fish.

on Friday afternoon, February 5 at
3:30 P. M., it is announced by the
president, Mrs. Lula Brown.

The petition of ELEC C. SAMPL
ES, JR., MELVIN D. HERSHEY and
LAVERNE BLACKSTONE, herein
after called petitioners, shows:
1. Petitioners desire for them
selves. their associates and succes
sors to be incorporated under the
name of “TWIN RIVERS, INC.”.
2. The object of said corporation
is pecuniary gain and profit.
3. The general nature of the busi
ness or businesses to be transacted
is as follows: to establish and main
tain a museum, or museums, for the
display of antiques and oddities, par
ticularly antique automobiles and
other types of conveyances; to op
erate a gift shop; to operate a res
taurant or restaurants and eating
establishments; to operate an auto
mobile service station; and, to do
any and all acts or things necessary,
convenient, expedient, ancillary or
in aid to the accomplishment of the
foregoing.
4. Petitioners further desire that
said corporation be vested with all
the rights and powers now or here
after given to do any and all things
which may be needful or proper in
the operation of the above describ
ed business, and that said corpora
tion have all of the powers enum
erated in Sections 22-1827 and 22-
1828, Georgia Code Annotated, and
Buch powers as may hereafter be
given by law.
5. The maximum number of
shares of stock shall be One huh*
dred (100) Os the par value of one
dollars ($100.00) per share, all of
which shall be common stock.
However, the amount of capital
with which the corporation shall
begin business shall be not less than
one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).
The corporation shall be authorized
to issue additional shares up to the
maximum sum above stated, and
thereafter, from time to time, to
reduce the amount of capital out
standing, but not below the mini
mum above stated, and all this,
upon a unanimous vote of the Board
of Directors.
6. The time for which the cor
poration is to have existence is 35
years, with the privilege of renewal
of the charter, from time to time,
upon the expiration of said periods

be located is Brantley County, Geor
gia, but the privilege is desired of
establishing branch offices and
places of business both within end
without the State of Georgia.

9. Petitioners further desire that
by-laws of the corporation shall be
adopted by the common stock hold
ers, and such by-laws shall provide
for the officers of the corporation,
the manner of their selection, and
such other rules appropriate to by
laws which have as their purpose
the control and management of the
corporation, including provisions
whereby the by-laws may be a
mended.
10. Petitioners further desire that
the corporation shall have the power
to, by its by-laws, (a) require a
three-fourths majority vote of the
shareholders representing all of the
outstanding capital stock for the
passage of any motion or resolu
tion at a stockholders* meeting;
(b) require a three-fourths major
ity vote of all the directors for the
passage of any motion or resolu
tion at a directors’ meeting.
11. Your petitioners herewith ex
hibit a certificate of the Secretary
of the State of Georgia as required
by Section 22-1803, Georgia Code
Annotated.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray to
be incorporated under the name
and style aforesaid with all the
rights, powers, privileges, and im
munities herein set forth, and such
