1953, Grady E. Boyd did execute to

deed to the following land:
“All that tract, piece or parcel of
land, located, situated, lying and
being in the second land district
formerly Wayne now , Brantley
County, Georgia, and a portion oi
a tract of land that W. Roberson
conveyed to C. L. Aldridge, by War
ranty Deed being the portion lying
North from U. S. 84 or State Route
50 and East of intersection of ths
road leading from said State Route
50 to the Baptist Church in Village
of Lujaton, and being all of that
certain definite tract that lies East
of the intersection aforesaid, and
bounded as follows: North, by Ear
rrfst Boyd lands, lands Baptist
Church: East by lands of Seab
Highsmith and Levi Strickland;
South by lands of Charlie Smith
and R|W of State Route 50; W T est
by a certain road from Route 50 to
Baptist Church and land of Mrs.

by a security deed recorded in the
office of the clerk of the Superior
Court of Brantley County, Georgia,
in Mortgage Book 32, at page 94,
and,
Whereas, said note has become in
default, no payment thereon having
been made since October 30, 1953,
and the undersigned elects that the
entire note, principal and interest,
become due at once;
Now, therefore, according to the
original terms of said security deed
and the laws in such cases made
and provided, the undersigned will
expose for sale to the highest and
best bidder for cash the above de
scribed land, after proper adver
tisement. on the first Tuesday in
May, 1954, between the legal hours
of sale before the courthouse door
in Nahunta, Brantley County, Geor
gia. The proceeds from said sale
will be used, first to the payment
of said note, principal, interest and
expenses, and the balance, if any,
delivered to the said Grady E.
Boyd.

ADMINISTRATOR’S SALE
The undersigned as Administra
tor of the Estate of K. O. Rozier
by virtue of an order ofc the Court
of Ordinary of Brantley County,
Georgia, will sell at public outcry
to the highest and best bidder for
cash on the first Tuesday in May,
1954, between the legal hours of
sale the property hereinafter de
scribed. Said property shall be sold
upon the premises, the same being
located at Waynesville, in Brantley
County, Georgia, and being the pro
perty occupied by the late K. O.
Rozier as a dwelling and store
building, and is described as a
whole as follows:
Said tract of land containing ap
proximately one acre located in the
village of Waynesville, Brantley
County, Georgia, and being a por
tion of Lot 62 of the Wiggins survey
and bounded as a whole on the
north a distance of 152.55 feet by
State Highway Road No. 50 - U. S.
84, on the east a distance of 294.25
feet by lands of Mack Rozier, on
the south a distance of 164.10 feet
by lands of the Waverly Company,
an# on the West a distance of 165.20
feet by lands of Mrs. Letha Vc-
Veigh, the Methodist Church and
W. G. Gibson Estate.
The above described tract of land
contains a residence and a store
building which shall be offered for
sale separately and as a whole.
Said tract as divided is described
upon a plat attached to the petition
for leave to sell on file in the office
of the Ordinary of said county, the
residence tract having a frontage on
said highway of 91.65 feet and the
store building having a frontage on
said highway of 60.90 feet. At the
same time and place there will also
be sold the stock of merchandise,
equipment and fixtures now located
in and used in connection with said
store building. The stock of mer
chandise, fixtures and equipment
wlil be offered separately and along
with said store building.

in Folio 437, the undersigned will
sell, at public sale, before the
courthouse in said county, on the
Ist Tuesday in May, 1954, (May 4th),
during the legal houfs of sale, to
the highest bidder for cash, the
following property, to wit: All that
tract, piece or parcel of land, sit
uated, lying and being in the 1493rd
District, G. M. Brantley County,
Georgia, known as Headright, with
out lot numbers, containing 16Va
acres, more or less: Bounded as fol
lows: North run of Abbott Branch;
East established road “Atkinson to
Burnt Fort; South lands of Union
Bag & Paper Corp; West lands of
heirs of B. O. Middleton and|or
Mrs. B. O. Middleton. “Mary Min
chew Home Place.” See deed of even
date to Mrs. lona Sikes from Mrs.
Alma Omick and references therein,
for the purpose of paying a certain
promissory note bearing date March
29th, 1952, and payable two years
after date, bearing interest from
maturity at the rate of eight per
cent per annum, and made and
executed by the said lona D. Sikes,
said note being for Two Thousand
Dollars, principal, the amount due
on said note being $1620.00, besides
interest, together with the costs of
this proceeding as provided in such
deed to secure debt. A conveyance
will be executed to the purchaser
by the undersigned, as authorized
in the said deed to secure debt.

The Hoboken Baptist Church com
pleted a series of revival service?
on Sunday, April 4. The services
were conducted by the pastor, Rev
J. C. Shepard.
The song services were led by
Herbert Colvin with Miss Mildred
Strickland as pianist.
The services were well attended
A count of the visitors was made
each night. And it was interesting
to note that members of other
churches in the surrounding com
munities were present. The pastor
brought inspiring messages to each
service.
Two members were received by
profession and one was received by
letter.
