VICTORY
PARADE
BECAUSE I
He has run a clean race without slinging mud and has not disgraced
the great State of Georiga.
SEPARATE PUBLIC SCHOOLS ■
I am for separate public schools. The Supreme Court ruling has
caused much concern regarding the future of our school. Let me
make my position on this subject clear to all of you. I am. for sep
arate public schools. I am. opposed to the mixing of the races in our
schools.

FREE ROADS
I am for free roads. We will build four-lane highways where four
lane highways are needed. We will build farm-to-market roads
where farm-to-market roads are needed. Every improvement will be
pushed to the limit of our resources, and I promise you that these
roads will be free roads.
AUTOMOBILE LICENSE TAGS B
There is a silly law now that requires you to tell someone in Atlanta
how much you owe on your autombile. We will repeal that law and
in the inteerst of convenience, economy, and efficiency we will change ;
the law so that you can buy your car, bus, or truck tag at your county
courthouse instead of at the State Capitol in Atlanta.
COUNTY UNIT |
lam for the County Unit System just as it is today. WLi’e 1 am your
Governor for the next four years the County Unit Syst'' n will remain
in the Primary just as it is now. While lam your Governor the County
Unit System will not be extended to the general elec’’:'i where it has
never been before. The County Unit System will n t be tampered
with or modified in any way while I am your Governor for the next
four years. /
TAXES H
I am opposed to any new taxes on the people of Georgia, and while
1 am your Governor there will be no new taxes. We can and we will
meet the demand for public services without imposing new taxes upon
our people. There will be no new taxes while I am your Governor
for the next four years.
