And that's only half the Chevrolet story
The sizzling acceleration of Chevrolet’s new
“Turbo-Fire V 8” is half the story; but it
takes a lot more besides. Cornering and
handling qualities really count on the
NASCAR* Short Track circuit where Chev
rolet’s king-just as they count for safer and
more pleasant highway driving. And even
the high-priced cars don’t slice through a
tight turn as neatly-or handle as sweetly—
as this beauty. The record proves it!
Come on in and sample all the things that
give Chevrolet its winning ways. We’re
keeping a key ready for you!.

Heavy rains hindered efforts
of searching parties and blood

Some 75 law officers are in
volved in the search. They in
clude 25 prison guards, 16 state
patrolmen and sheriffs from
Wayne, Long, Brantley, Pierce,
Appling and Tattnal counties and
their staffs.
The patrol threw up roadblocks
on all roads out of the vicinity.
