ly named to the position of Sher
iff of the Supreme Court of
Georgia. Mr. Estes succeeds Sher-

When the Court was first creat
ed, it met at different places and
the sheriff of the county where
they happened to be meeting
served as sheriff or furnished a
deputy. Now the Court elects its
own sheriff.
