ing to condemnation said Truck,
as provided by law for that the
same was used for illegal trans
portation of alcoholic spiritous
liquors and distilled spirits on
which the tax was not paid and
on which the containers did not
have affixed stamps and the ve
hicle was not enroute to a State
Warehouse (Brantley being a
wet County) and you the un
known owner of said vehicle
sought to be condemned or any
leasee thereof are required to
file your defense on or before
28th day of October, 1957, in
above stated condemnation else
the court will grant judgment in
above case condemning said
motor vehicle above described
and order a sale of same in terms
of law after expiration of date
allowed for filing defense.

A new pulpwood yard opened
up in Pierce county this week
when the Dixie Pulp and Hard
wood Corp, moved into the
newly completed yard at Pat
terson.
The pulpwood yard is located
between highway 38 and the
ACL railroad just south of town.

During the past two weeks the
railroad has been building a spur
line into the yard and the rail
road bed and surrounding area
have been covered in gravel.
Offices have been built near
the highway.
Dixie Pulp and Hardwood
Corp, is one of Pierce county’s
newest businesses, having been
chartered in June of this year.
Officers in the corporation are
James R. Russ, president; J. J.
Ritch, vice-president; and W. B.
Bothwell, secretary-treasurer.

Mrs. Blitch Has
Waycross Office
Way cross, Georgia — Congress
woman Iris Blitch has announc
ed that again this year her Dis
trict office is located in Room
206 of the Post Office Building
in Waycross. The office is fully
staffed for fast, efficient service,
and is open from 8:30 a.m. until
5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fri
days, and until noon on Satur
days. Everyone is invited to visit.
“My Washington office will re
main open for liaison with all
Government agencies, and to
handle matters that cannot be
resolved in Waycross,” Mrs.
Blitch said.
The Congresswoman also said
she vzill attend The Brantley
Company Centennial Celebration
in Blackshear October 16.
