“THERE IS NO SEASON SUCH DELIGHT CAN BRING,
AS SUMMER, AUTUMN, WINTER AND SPRING ...”
This is a happy sentiment which hints that there is much
to appreciate about each new day. It is spoken in the spirit of
one who looks to the future with a spirit of adventure and a
zest for living.
It is the seasons, after all, that provide us a pleasant cycle
of .moods and outlooks which range from the pleasant and only
mildly shameful lassitude of summer to the bright and crisp
urge for accomplishment that comes with spring.
In a sense, this philosophy fits the thought processes of a
youngster more comfortably than it does his elders. Whoever
heard of a youngster fearing the heat of the summer sun or
the ear-nipping cold of winter? Actually, the individual discom
forts of the day or the season are merely incidental phases of
a great new adventure unfolding on the morrow. Perhaps it
might benefit some of to borrow, on occasion, from the great
well of enthusiasm and joy for life such as springs from the
breast of the young.
