FOOD ADVERTISING
Good food advertising may in
clude food values, but it avoids
specific health claims, points out
Mrs. Betty Alexander, consumer
information specialist, Agricul
tural Extension Service. Such ad
vertizers recognize that health de
pends on the diet as a whole and
on many factors other than food.
It’s up to the consumer to be dis
criminating in accepting food ad
vertising.
