Washington County was formed on 674 square miles of Creek
Indian territory in 1784. Named for George Washington, the
county was the tenth to fly the Georgia flag, and today ranks
eighth in size. Os historic interest is a 176-year-old log jail in
Warthen where Aaron Burr was held en route to Virginia to
stand trial for treason. Sandersville, the county seat, marks a
valiant home guard troop’s resistance to Sherman’s forces.
Today, progressive Washington County derives the bulk of
its income from agriculture, livestock, and kaolin mining.
In Washington County, and throughout Georgia, the
United States Brewers Foundation works constantly to assure
the sale of beer and ale under pleasant, orderly conditions. Be
lieving that strict law enforcement serves the best interest of
the people of Georgia, the Foundation stresses close coopera
tion with the Armed Forces, law enforcement and governing
officials in its continuing "self-regulation” program.

COMPACT CORVAIR and CHEVROLET
A strong family resemblance between the all
new Corvair and Chevrolet's conventional line of
passenger cars for 1960 is evident in this unusual
profile view. At 180 inches, however, the Corvair
is more than two and one-half feet shorter, while
its 108-inch wheelbase compares with 119 on the
Impala Sport Sedan with which it appears.

DO YOU KNOW?
Chiropractic has been rewarded with a greater and more rapid
growth than any healing science in previous history. Its success has
been built on the following basic principles:
1. That the cause of disease is within the body.
2. That disease, susceptibility, weakness or non-resistance has its
basis in derangement of the nerve system.
3. That derangement of the nerve system is due to sublexated
(misaligned) vertebra pressing on spinel nerves.
4. That these misalignments can usually be corrected by properly
directed forces.
5. That Nature Cures.
These principles are in harmony with Natural Laws and should be
carefully studied by every person seeking health.
HEADACHES
This woman age 46, came to
Dr. Tuten complaining of head
aches which she had tried every
other method of the healing arts
to relieve, over a period of years,
without any noticeable relief.
A thorough examination re
vealed a misalignment of spinel
vertebra.
Chiropractic corrective adjust
ments were given and this lady
reports: “I have had only one
very slight headache since the
very first adjustment.”
