Would No-Advertising
Cost Your Business
Some businessmen look upon ad
vertising as an expense. When
expenses must be cut, the ad
vertising budget is first to
come under the knife.
The trouble with that method
is — it just won’t work.
The fact overlooked is that
newspaper advertising repre
sents only a fractional part
of the cost of goods sold.
* ?
Advertising is the instrument
which brings the greatest returns
when it is intelligently planned.
Advertising becomes expensive
when you don’t use enough.
It’s like failing to lubricate
a piece of valuable machinery.
You save the cost of lubri
cant, but eventually you have
to pay the big repair bill —
and production losses while the
machinery is idle.
