Grammar School PTA
Will Meet Monday
The November meeting of the
Nahunta Grammar School PTA
will be held Monday, Nov. 26,
at 8 P. M. in the school auditori
um.
Rev. Chesley Walker, pastor of
Hoboken Baptist Church, will be
guest speaker. Rev. Walker’s sub
ject will be ‘Religion and the
Public Schools.’
The importance of this topic
was brought out by the recent
U. S. Supreme Court decision in
the New York Prayer case. Cases
concerning the use of the Bible
in the public schools are now be
fore the courts.
Everyone is invited to attend
this important meeting and to
express their opinion on the use
of prayer and the Bible in our
public schools.
