Everything Changes —
Except Human Nature
While political concepts
throughout the world may differ,
human nature is much the same
wherever you find it. And, ap
parently, it is pretty hard to
change it. One writer has listed
six errors which individuals —
everywhere — seem to share:
1. The delusion that personal
advancement is made by crush
ing others;
2. The tendency to worry about
things that cannot be changed or
corrected;
3. The impulse to insist that a
thing is impossible simply be
cause we can’t do it;
4. A reluctance to give up our
trivial preferences;
5. The neglect of opportunities
to improve our minds through
reading and study;
6. The insistence that others
ought to believe and live as we
do.
These shortcomings apply to all
people today —- just as they did
2,000 years ago — when Cicero
listed them.

GOOD PUBLIC RELATIONS
SOMEHOW, we had always thought that
public relations was a rather mysterious in
tangible, practiced by huge corporations
who had echelons of bright young men on
their staffs busy keeping the company “i
--mage” bright and shiny. Now, we discover
that we have been practicing good public
relations for many years simply by treating
the people of this community who have
sought our services in a fair and impartial
manner.
