Elect “Bo” Callaway Governor
NEW LIFE, NEW STRENGTH FOR GEORGIA
TO ALL GEORGIANS...
"I AM DEEPLY GRATEFUL to my wonderful friends . . . from all
political parties ... from all walks of life, who have stood with me so
long and so courageously in our fight for Americanism, constitutional
government, honesty and integrity. And, I am indeed grateful to the
thousands of new friends who are coming daily from the camps of
my former opponents to join forces with us.
TO EACH OF YOU, I express my sincere appreciation for your
prayers, your tireless work, your many sacrifices and contributions,
all of which brought an overwhelming victory to the people of Geor
gia, not just Lester Maddox on September 28th and have insured a
smashing victory for the Democratic Party on November Bth. Be
cause of you, the Democratic Party is stronger today than ever before.
I SHALL NEVER BETRAY YOUR TRUST. I am and always will be
the candidate of the people and for the people. The door to the
Governor's office will always be open to you. We have no enemies
to punish, and I want to assure all state employees who have been
dedicated to their jobs that they have no fear of replacement.
MY APOLOGIES to those of you who have not received an acknow
ledgment to your wonderful letters, phone calls, wires and contribu
tions. Campaign headquarters has been swamped with an avalanche
of mail, phone calls and requests for campaign material from all over
the state. Our staff has been working 'round the clock to answer each
and every one of your letters, and all requests will be filled as quickly
as possible.
WE HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT ... victory is in sight, but we
must not become complacent before we pass the last hurdle Novem
ber Bth. Please continue to stand with me and to fight with me for
a greater, freer, safer GEORGIA FOR ALL and until VICTORY is
proclaimed.
THIS IS STILL YOUR CAMPAIGN and to insure its success we still
need help from you, the people. Any contribution you can make will
help move us one step nearer to VICTORY."

MADDOX FOR GOVERNOR
I PERSONALLY INVITE EACH OF YOU . . .
To be present in Macon on Oct. 15th for the State Democratic Convention.
I am depending on all my friends to come as special delegates. I need
you to help us make this the greatest Democratic assembly this state has
ever known.

Begin with an electric heat pump. It s the
one-unit system that thinks spring no matter
what the season.
Set the thermostat once only. Then forget
it. Your heat pufnp will keep you in pre
selected comfort the entire winter. Come the
first hot days of summer, the cycle reverses
—automatically. The air in your house is
cooled and dehumidified. Winter or summer,
your heat pump swings to spring.
Clean as a day in May, too. For unlike
fossil fuels, electricity has no by-products of
combustion. No smoke. No soot. No grime.
So, be like your heat pump: think spring.
Nice thought.
