on earth for the building of character
and good citizenship. It is a store
house of spiritual values. Without a
strong Church, neither democracy
nor civilization can survive. There
are four sound reasons why every
person should attend services regu
larly and support the Church. They
are: (1) For his own sake. (2) For his
children’s sake. (3) For the sake of
his community and nation. (4) For
the sake of the Church itself, which
needs his moral and material support.
Plan to go to church regularly and
read your Bible daily.

Last night a miracle occurred. It happened on the night after Johnny bought
a new guitar and all of us joined in a family hootenanny.
When he came to live with us over a year ago, Sam didn’t even talk. Raised
in a sub-standard home, he was a mighty unhappy little boy with problems galore.
He didn’t like us at first—he wasn’t glad to be with us. But, gradually, as the
months wore on, he began to trust us and believe in our love.
That night as the family sang together—Sam suddenly began to sing with US,
The miracle had occurred. He was now one of the family.
You see, the Church had taught us that the love of God accepts us completely
and unconditionally. We had learned that we could love and accept Sam in the
same way. In becoming a part of God’s family, we had discovered how to create
a new family of our own.
