A plunge
to please you!
Through the years the trend in the price ot
electricity has been down...down...down...
All eyes turn to the breathtaking beauty and
grace of an expertly performed swan dive. It
never fails to thrill.
There is another plunge that should interest
the budget-minded. (And who isn’t, in these
days of high prices?) It’s the drop in the price
of electricity.
While nearly everything else was going up —
U p— U p—in price, electricity was coming down.
Our average price to residential customers has
dropped from 7.6 cents a kilowatt-hour in 1927
to 1.7 cents in 1967.
The price you pay today is almost 23 percent
below the national average.
So, wouldn’t you say that electricity is one
of the biggest bargains in your family budget?
