BRANTLEY ENTERPRISE
Comforts of Borno
To our forefathers, this was living at its bet.,
... but the hard chair, the iron pot and the open
grate would not be our idea of comfort!
Today kitchens sparkle with bright, easy-to
clean metals, and cupboards are filled with helpful
appliances. We relax in foam-padded chairs and
sleep on spring-filled mattresses. Almost every
aspect of modern life is slanted toward speed and
convenience. *

THE CHURCH
FOR ALL...
... ALL FOR
THE CHURCH
Man, with his marvelous God-created brain,
has overcome many obstacles, and there seems to
be no limit to his inventiveness. God has given us
a world full of possibilities, and minds that con
stantly seek to improve our environment
< But to make the most of our opportunities, we
must ever develop and renew the resolute “faith
of our fathers.” Come to church and with others
receive that heritage of inspiration and light
The Church is the greatest factor on earth for the building of
character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual
values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civili
zation can survive. There are four sound reasons why every
person should attend services regularly and support the Church.
They are: (1) For his own sake. (2) For his children's soke.
(3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake
of the Church itself, which needs his moral and material support.
Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible daily.
