CASE 1 CASE 2
Stiff Neck
Nervous-Headaches
Woman, age 37, — was very nervous,
had headaches, shortness of breath, a
tightness in the chest, low back pains
and a tired feeling. Much doctoring had
failed to bring relief, so she was more
than pleased with the rapid improve-
ment she felt under chiropractic care.
Child, aged 18 months, made no effort to walk. She was underweight, had a poor
appetite and slow also about learning to talk. An x-ray picture was made of the
spine and spinal adjustments were given. The response was good. The child s
appetite improved, she gained in weight and energy. It was not long before she
was beginning to walk and talk as any normal baby should.

The Assistant Secretary’s
action emphasized the impor
tance of the technical action
panels that the Secretary of
Agriculture has ordered es
tablished in each state and
the approximately 3,000 rural
counties to work with local
community development or
ganizations.
“Basically, what the Depart
ment is doing,” Baker ex
plains, “is realigning and for
tifying it field officers to in
sure that rural communities
do not miss out on help avail
able from any source in their
development programs.
“We have established a ‘one
stop’ service concept in every
rural county to enable local
leaders to (1) get help they
need in finding out what is
impeding the development of
their local economy, (2) ob
tain assistance in preparing
economic development plans,
and (3) tap all government
and private services that can
be used to turn dreams into
reality.”
