Electric heating? Now?
(Don’t lose your cool, but
it’s an idea to warm up to.)
Not quite 110 in the shade. Not quite the day
to think about heating either. Right? But
eventually you’re going to do something about
that old heating system. Why not today?
Electric heating is easily installed. Takes
only a few days at most, whatever your home’s
age, style or present system.
Other nice things: Electric heat is clean. So
your home stays that way. Cozy because it is
a gentle, uniform heat. Quick because instant
warmth is thermostat-near. Quiet, too.
Flexible because electricity offers you the
widest choice of systems. Dependable because
flameless electric heating systems have long
life design. Trouble-free operation.
Economical, too, with our low rate for total
electric customers.
Electric heating now? To enjoy it when it’s
cold, get it while it’s hot!

FOOD STORAGE
Temperature is one of the
most important factors in
storing foods, according to
Miss Nelle Thrash, food pres
ervation specialist at the Un
iversity of Georgia’s Coopera
tive Extension Service. Frozen
foods should be stored at zero
degrees Fahrenheit or lower
and canned foods should be
stored in a cool dark place.

Before leaving, make sure the fire is completely out.
Keep food at a safe temperature. A portable icebox is best but ice
cubes, dry ice or commercially prepared metal containers (you can
pre-freeze them) will help.
©Handle dry ice carefully—never use bare hands because a bad burn
can result.
/•k After eating, allow at least a one hour waiting period before going
in the water.
©Make sure children are well supervised when swimming. Never
swim alone. This goes for swimmers as well as non-swimmeTT
© Bring along a first aid kit and know the basics of first aid.
