Notice to Mobile Home Owners
The law requires that all personal property
be returned for taxes.
If you own the land on which your trailer
is parked, you are entitled to homestead
exemption provided your return is made
immediately.
If return is not made, the tax assessors
must do it and add 10% penalty and deny
homestead exemption in case you would
otherwise qualify.
Time is short because of the delay caused
by re-evaluation. The digest is not completed.
So it is most urgent that you return your
mobile home at once.
