The answer, according to Dr. T. L. Walton, state 4-H Club leader at the University of Georgia, is 4-H. He points out that 4-H and 4-H-like programs are benefiting 75 countries throughout the world. NATURE’S BRUSH Why is an apple sometimes called “Nature’s Toothbrush?” Miss Nellie Thrash, hame econ mist with the University of Georgia Cooperative Exten sion Service, says it’s because eating a juicy, crisp, fresh apple cleans the teeth and massages the gums. PECAN PROSPECTS Georgia’s pecan crop for 19- 67 is forecast at 47 million pounds by the State Crop Re porting Service. This predict ed pecan production for Geor gia is No. 1 in rank among other states in the improved varieties. This years’ crop es timate is about 10 million more than the 1966 production. Personals Airman James Muchison, Jr., son of Inell Muchison of Rt. 1, Waynesville, Ga., has completed basic training at Amarillo AFB, Tex. He has been assigned to the Air Force Technical Training Center at Chanute AFB, 111., for special ized schooling as a fire pro tection specialist. Airman Muchison is a 1967 graduate of Nahunta High School.
