of the estate of Minnie Rogers
Courson, late of Dougherty

in a deed from James W.
Courson, as administrator of
the estate of J. L. Courson, de
ceased, to C. M. Courson dated
November 10, 1927, and re
corded in the public records
of Brantley County, Georgia,
in Deed Book 4, page 416, as
follows: The lot or parcel of
land lying and being in Brant
ley County, and being that
tract or parcel of land, the
same being a portion of lot of
land number 230 in the 2nd
Land District of formerly
Wayne, now Brantley County,
Georgia, and being all of said
lot not previously sold by W.
F. Raybon, Martha F. Raybon
and Daisy Raybon; the land
herein described being in the
Southeast comer of lot of land
number 230, in the 2nd Land
District of said County of
Brantley and extending from
the division line between lot.
number 230 and 231 north to
the division line between said
lot number 230 and 229 and
lying on the East side of said
lot number 230, and containing
100 acres, more or less, and
bounded as follows: on the
north by lands of W. R. Rog
ers; on the east by lands of
B. F. Jones and by lands of
J. L. Courson; on the south
by original land line; on the
west by lands belonging to
W. J. Broadhurst and public
road. Being the same land and
premises known as the Ray
bon Old Place and whereon

Surveyor, Georgia, No. 793,
which plat was made August
14, 1954, and becomes a part
of this deed for all purposes,
and bounded as follows, to
wit: north by lands of Bruns
wick Pulp & Paper Company,
east by lands of Brunswick
Pulp & Paper Company, and
comes to a point in the south
and west by lands of C. M.
Courson.
3. Two tracts of land de
scribed in a deed from W. S.
Courson to J. W. Courson dat
ed November 10, 1927, and
recorded in the public records
of Brantley County, Georgia,
in Deed Book 4, page 405, as
follows: Fifty (50) acres of
land, more or less, of lot of

more particularly described

lands of the estate of E. H.
Knox and by lands of J. W.

right-of-way of the AC.L.R.R.
Company and on the west by
original lot line.
Also 35 acres of land, more
or less, lying and being in
Land Lot Number 259 and
260 in the Second Land Dis
trict of formerly Wayne, now
Brantley County, Georgia, and
being more particularly de
scribed and bounded as fol
lows: on the north by lands
of the estate of J. L. Courson;
on the east by branch or by
lands of B. F. Jones, and by
lands of W. H. Rogers and
by lands of G. W. Parrott and
by lands of F. E. Rogers; on
the south by lands of the es
tate of J. L. Courson; on the
west by lands of the estate
of J. L. Courson. The above
described tract or parcel of
land being the old home place
of the late J. L. Courson, de-
scribed and being the place on
which he lived for some thir

ing in a statewide essay con
test on “Dairy Products and
You”, the Georgia Farm Bur
eau Federation announced
this week.

of the Georgia Farm Bureau
Federation, from Metter, and
Mrs. J. Andy Rape, Chairman
of Georgia Farm Bureau
Women from McDonough, said
that the federation was spon
soring the program to help
teenagers realize the value of
adequate nutrition and eating
habits and the value of dairy
products in such a personal
program.
The contest is open to any
junior or senior boy or girl
in Georgia. The program is
part of the Farm Bureau June
Dairy Month program.
Local participants may ob
tain details on the essay con
test from the Pierce Conuty
Farm Bureau Chapter. All
entries for state competition
must be submitted through
the county Farm Bureau. Only
the county winning essay
should be submitted for state
competition.
