PUT IT OFF
Put off regular pruning un
til winter. This is the advice
of C. D. Spivey, horticulturist
with the University of Georgia
Extension Service. Prune in
late winter, because your fruit
trees have worked hard in
storing up food in the form of
carbohydrates to carry them
through the winter.
