I ANNOUNCEMENT
Along with several other essential business firms in Nahunta,
I our 1969 business license was raised by the mayor and council to
unprecedented levels so that we can no longer continue the operation
of ambulance service to the residents of this area. All ambulance
I service will terminate as of midnight, April 15, 1969. Other factors
make continued ambulance service unprofitable enough without
being burdened unnecessarily by this increase.
Those persons with whom we have talked during the past few
weeks understand our position in this matter and I would like to
thank each of them for their efforts in our behalf, which were to no
avail.
