An electric security light
leaves nothing
to the imagination.
Things that go bump in the night. A cat, maybe.
Shadows made by the moon. Strange shapes
on the lawn —a dropped blanket. Toys that get
left behind and tripped over.
An electric security light clears up all that.
Discourages what isn’t imagination, too. A
photoelectric cell sees to it by turning the lamp
on at dusk and off at dawn. Automatically.
So even while you’re away your property
looks attended.
By the month, a 7,000-lumen fixture costs $4.00;
a 20,000-lumen fixture, $6.75. That includes
installation on an existing pole, electricity used,
maintenance and lamp replacement.
For more information, call our nearest office. Or
put the coupon in the mail. And your
imagination to rest.

What 4-H Means
to Me
I am a member of the Black
shear High Senior 4-H Club.
I’m sure you’re wondering
why. Well, here are a few rea
sons:
Interesting club meetings, a
chance to act as an elected of
ficer, meeting other people
from all over the state, summer
camps such as District Project
Achievement, Naval Stores.
Leadership, Forestry and
Wildlife. These are a few rea
sons why I’m in 4-H.
4-H to me is something I
feel a young person should
take part in. I feel you can
learn .many things in 4-H.
When I graduate from high
school I will no longer be a
member of 4-H. But I hope
to get a job helping 4-H’ers in
Georgia. This is how much I
like 4-H.
National 4-H Week was ob
served recently for 3% million
4-H’ers . . . for .more than six
million parents . . . for more
than half a million volunteer
leaders and for 26 million
former 4-H’ers This many
people can’t be wrong, so “get
on the ball” and complete a
4-H project. Be an active mem
ber!

FLOWERING AGE
At what age will Southern
Magnolia trees flower? Horti
culturists with the University
of Georgia Cooperative Ex
tension Service say some
plants will flower in the third
or fourth year. However, most
of them require a longer
period of time to start. They
say it takes patience.
