One reason why the
Georgia Regional Hospital
at Atlanta is all-electric:
People who need personal attention. The best
psychiatric and medical care. And a warm hand
when only a warm hand will do.
The buildings they live in are intimate and
small. The facilities are modern; the rooms, cheer
ful; the indoor climate, always fresh and clean.
Electricity runs all the equipment. Reliably,
economically and (except for the gentle whir of
the dentist’s drill) quietly. And because electricity
is so efficient, the staff has more time for the men,
women and children who come from 14 counties
to be treated for mental disorders.
The Georgia Regional Hospital at Atlanta
may be one of the best of its kind anywhere.
Electricity isn’t all that makes it good. The De-
Kalb hills do. People do. But electricity can help
people make this a more pleasant place to be.
And that’s a big part of the medicine.

All Georgia
Counties Have
Food Plans
When Troup County begins
its Food Stamp Program all
159 Georgia Counties will have
food programs to feed the
hungry, State Welfare Direc
tor Bill Burson has announced.
The, achievement of 100 per
cent participation in food pro
grams In Georgia represents
realization of the goal set by
the State Department of Fami
ly and Children Services when
it launched its War on Hunger
in July 1967. At that time on
ly 90 counties were feeding the
hungry.
TRANSPLANTONG TIME
The season and soil condi
tions are right for transplant
ing shrubs around the home.
Early winter tansplanting is
highly desirable, says Troy
Keeble, horticulturist with the
University of Georgia Coop
erative Extension Service. This
will give the plants an oppor
tunity to settle and have some
root growth before next
spring.
