Food Stamp Meeting Set for
Grocers of Brantley County
The U. S. Department of
Agriculture’s Food and Nutri
tion Service has scheduled an
important meeting September
21, 1970 to explain its food
stamp program to retail and
wholesale grocers in Brantley
County.
The meeting will be held
Monday, September 21 at 2:00
P. M., at the Courthouse in
Nahunta.
The Food and Nutrition Ser
vice urges all grocers serving
customers in Brantley County
to attend the meeting and ap
ply for authorization to take
part in the program. The food
stamp program is scheduled to
get underway in the county in
October.
Failure to receive authoriza
tion before the program gets
underway could result in gro
cers losing food sales, food
stamp officials point out, be
cause only retailers who have
been authorized by the Food
and Nutrition Service may
handle USDA food coupons.

How do you insure *
the comfort of
145 acres of buildings?
Electrically. Like Interstate
North Office Park.
A new development rises on the Atlanta horizon
Interstate North Office Park. Like islands of business, the
buildings will be grouped in clusters and surrounded by
malls and green seas of landscaping. Creating a unique
business environment.
Tenants of the Piedmont Life Building, already com
pleted, appreciate the all-electric concept of the office
complex. Electric cooling and heating insure a comfort
able working atmosphere year ’round.
Construction of the building went fast. Electric equip
ment is easy to install, requires only one energy source.
Valuable office area is created when compact electric
equipment is used. It saves space and allows great free
dom of design. And in the construction business, time
and space mean money.
Electricity can’t insure the life of your business, but
it can assure you clean, economical and convenient
energy to power your enterprise. See one of our com-,
mercial representatives for complete coverage of the facts.
