Bill Introduced
To Provide
CATV
Reps. Lowell Leggett of
Brunswick, Carl Drury of St.
Marys and Brad Dorminy of
Fitzgerald have introduced a
bill to provide for regulation
of community antenna televi
sion (CATV).
CATV currently is regula
ted by the municipalities in
which it operates.
House Bill 465 would vest
jurisdiction in the Georgia
Public Service Commission to
regulate CATV. Applicants
would have to obtain a certi
ficate of public convenience
and necessity to institute such
a service, and the PSC would
have the power to regulate
rates and service.

will flower in the third or
fourth year. Most require a
longer period of time to start.
Patience is the answer to the
question.
