Chairman of the Mineral Leas
ing Commission at 10:00 A. M.,
EST., August 5, 1971, in
Room 203, State Capitol,
Atlanta, Georgia, for the is
surance of a mineral lease for
dredging waterbottoms in the
Satilla River, Brantley County,
at the boat canal at Sewell's
Fish Camp and being more
particularly described in the
form of Lease attached to and
made by reference a part of
the Instructions to Bidders,
which Instructions set forth the
terms of this Invitation.
Copies of such Instructions,
including the complete form
ofboth the Bid and Lease, may
be obtained on request from the
Secretary of the Mineral Leas
ing Commission, BenW. Fort
son, Jr., Secretary of State,
Room 214, State Capitol, At
lanta, Georgia 30334.
A deposit of a certified or
cashier's check drawn on a
bank within the State of Geor
gia, and made payable to the
order of the Chairman of the
Mineral Leasing Commission,
in the sum of Ten Dollars
($10,00) will be required for
each set (2 copies) of such
Instructions given out, which
check shall be returned upon
the submission of a bid or upon
the return, prior to the open
ing of bids, ofsu ch set in good
condition.
Bids are invited from respon
sible parties for the leasing of
such properties in accordance
with all the terms and pro
visions of the form of Lease
and subject to all applicable
provisions of law, particularly
an Act of the General As
sembly of the State of Geor
gia, approved March 9, 1945,
(Ga. L. 1945, pp. 352-356),
as ammended.
The Mineral Leasing Com
mission reserves the right to
reject any or all bids and to
waive informalities in the bid
ding.

98 feet; thence south to the
place of beginning. Said pro

Line Railroad right-of-way;
