SBO Million Development
For

ATLANTA (PRN)
Atlanta-based J. Cohn
Construction Co. has
announced plans for
development of an SBO
million, 413-acre planned
community in Clayton
County.
The development, named
Pointe South, lies between
Georgia Highway 85 and U.S.
41, sixteen miles south of
downtown Atlanta. It will
consist of both attached and
detached single family homes,
two commercial areas and five
recreation sites.
Pointe South is the second
major planned unit
development (PUD) in the
Atlanta area to be announced
by J. Cohn Construction
within a month.
In late July, Jerry Cohn,
president of J. Cohn
Construction, announced a
543-acre, SIOO million
development in DeKalb
County, consisting of attached
and detached single family
homes, apartments,
commercial shopping and
office and institutional space
and a 65-acre community
recreation park.
Financing for land
acquisition and preliminary
development at Pointe South
is being provided by Adair
Mortgage Company, a
subsidiary of the Trust
Company of Georgia Bank.
Alan Dailey, president of
Adair Mortgage, said his
company plans to provide
both construction and
permanent financing for the
entire development.
“Adair is proud to provide
financing for this development
in Clayton County, one of the
fastest growing areas in
metropolitan Atlanta,” said
Dailey. “The extent of ou
participation indicates the
confidence we have in Jerry
Cohn and the ability of his
staff to develop this attractive,
innovative, well-planned
community.”
Attached housing in Pointe
South will be in the SIB,OOO
to $28,000 price range.
Detached homes will range in
price from $27,000 to
$40,000. Construction of
attached single family homes
is scheduled to begin late this
year, with a formal opening in
the spring of 1973.
“Our goal in Pointe South
will be in every respect
consistent with what we plan
to do in Mainstreet, our
recently announced DeKalb
County development,” said
Cohn. “That is to build not

GET TOP DOLLAR FOR
YOUR HOUSE
Selling your house, next to
buying a new one, is the big
gest financial transaction an
average family will ever face.
When the time comes to sell,
the two most important con-
siderations are to sell quickly
and for the best price.
Take a look at your house
from a prospective buyer’s
viewpoint. Would a fresh coat
of paint give the exterior of
your house a “new look?”
Surely a clean, attractively
decorated interior will help
toward an “instant sale.” In
short, your house should be
in good repair and sparkling
clean.
But, you ask, should I use
a realtor? Experience has
shown that professional rep
resentation can often do the
selling job for you more
efficiently and to your
advantage.
