Volunteers from around
Brantley County will be con.
ducting the 1973 Heart Fund
drive this week.
The following is a list of
the volunteer workers from dif
ferent sections of the County.
From the Hickox Commun
ity are: Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie
Tripp, Mrs. Lavelle Bohannon,
and Mrs. W. W Hendrix who will
be representingthe Hickox Bap.

Wainright reported a drug ar
rest on Feb. 15. According to
Wainright, Carl L. Morris of
Jesup, Georgia was arrested by
Trooper Cook of the Highway
Patrol for speeding.

Grand Jury ” true billed ”

The week of February 12,
was criminal week. During the
week, all cases that were” true
billed ” either pled guilty or
were found guilty. According to
Hilton Morgan, Clerk of Sup
erior Court, those plus the re
maining indictments of thepast
term were tried. According to
Morgan, ten criminal cases
were disposed of. Morgan said
that there are a couple of in
dictments that did not come to
trial because the individuals
