Southeastern Technical
provides electrical work
The lighting effects and heating-cooling system in the new Waters
Ford Company helps to enhance the beauty of the building.
Southeastern Technical Services, Inc., of Blackshear is compli
mented for its part in the construction of the building.
Troy Stanfield, president and James A. (Jim) Bowen, vice president,
of Southeastern Technical Services, Inc., and their personnel in
stalled all the lighting and heating facilities. The building features
the exclusive Carrier round system with high efficiency.
Each room is thermostatically controlled and offers the customer
and employe perfect comfort as to heating or cooling. There are two
separate systems. One system conditions the office area, parts de
partment and another system conditions the showroom area.
Mr. Bowen said it took about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks to install the system.
“We are proud to have had a part in helping another Blackshear
business toward progress,’’ he said.
Fluorescent lighting is seen in the work area, showroom and of
fices. Special lighting effects are noticed with both direct and in
direct techniques.
Flush type fixtures are seen in the showroom and can be focused
on the automobile on display for highlights. There are adjustable
spotlights of the eyeball type which give special illumination on
objects, according to Mr. Stanfield.
Mr. Stanfield was especially pleased with the outside lighting
which is of the latest design, Quartzlite floodlights. These lights
are especially for yard lighting and lighting of the parking area
on the outside.
The building outside and the driveways are effective with illumina
tion caused by the new Quartzlite s.
All fixtures placed by the company in the special paint room meet
occupational safety health standards and the lights are explosive
proof designed as well as the ventilation system of this area.
