An electric security light stays on the job.
Even a faithful friend can fall asleep at times. But
never an electric security light. The mercury-vapor
lamp has a photo-electric cell that automatically
turns the light on at dusk, off at dawn. So it’s always
wide awake when you need it most.
When you’re away, a security light protects your
property. Lengthens the day for work or play. Pre
vents accidents, too. A small monthly charge covers
fixture, pole, installation, maintenance and electricity.
For details on dusk-to-dawn lighting service, call
the nearest Georgia Power office or mail the coupon.

vailable a new drivers jpanual
which Commissioner Col. Ray
Pope says is the most compre
hensive and helpful ever pre
pared for Georgia drivers.
The seventy page publication
is in attractive four-color des
ign and covers every phase of
driving, licensing, and traffic
safety in the State. The manual
goes into great detail to ex
plain the new classification sys
tem setting up five classes of
licenses; tells you why seat
belts are life savers; and what
to do in case of an accident.
There is one section on motor
cycle licenses and how to sa
fely enjoy the increasingly pop
ular two- wheeled sport.
Another section relates to tr
ucks, busses, and tractor.tr
ailers and even offers help
ful advice on how to operate
the larger vehicles.
One of the more popular sec
tions in the new manual is
surely to be the international
picture and symbol road signs
which are now being installed
around the state, designed to
get the message across with
out the use of words.
Colonel Pope said the new
manual is available at all State
Patrol locations and places wh
ere drivers licenses are iss
ued in the State. Copies maybe
obtained by writing to any of
the locations.

are some very irate parents
who find their favorite fruit
tree has been chopped down
for fire wood ?
