The festivities of the occasion'‘were* brightened by the presence of Misses Gray and Laniard who aie spending some time withy Mary ^Lee. A sumptnousdinner was prepared and a joyous feast it was. Around the table was seen the ever bright and,happy faces of Dr. Northrop Smith and lady. Genuine fun was indulged in. Many witty’remarks were made which is characteristic of the Dr./Visitors from Culloden wete a warmly welcomed and there ccnsidecable Dodge—ing around. Messrs Myrich and Persons spent Xmas in Macon with Mr B. H. Ray and family.. Champagne flowed freely, which caused their atep lo be not altogether natural. Dr. Dewberry and his fair bride spent Xmas with /relatives and friends in Tabot. M?ss Mattie* Lou Blasingame has returued from Wesleyan to spend Xmas with her parents.
