Here is a picture of April Carroll’s second grade class. In honor of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, the class read ’’The Lorax” and planted their own seeds. They are waiting and watching for their seeds to grow into basil plants. The students are thrilled to grow edible plants that they will take home for Mother’s Day presents. The back row are all of their fifth grade mentors who helped the class plant the seeds, (from left to right) Cortney, Raven, Kayla, Chely, and Nicole.
