2013 Junior/Senior Project Achievement
And the award goes to...
Crawford County! The
Northwest District Project

March 8-10 at Rock Eagle. A
Toy Story theme set the tone
for the weekend conference.
Crawford County 4-H’ers par

4-H’ers from our district. This
opportunity provides the
4-H’ers of Crawford County
an out-of-county educational
experience and gives recogni

Project Achievement serves to
showcase 4-H’ers success.
Twelve Junior and Senior

several placed at the top of
their project area.
Junior 4-H’ers (7 fll -8 th grad

judged within their topic.

area, sharing/helping experi
ences, leadership activities,
4-H activities, and other com

senior level (9 th -12 th graders)
4-H’ers submit a 5 page port
folio including a cover letter
to the judge. Seniors have 49
topics from which to pick.
First place winners advance to
State Congress.
Demonstrations are pre
pared and practiced prior to
competition. During the week
end, 4-H’ers present their
illustrated talk which includes
reference to posters and props.
