Many people have a difficult time making ends meet, but by helping them with the grocery bill, food stamps benefits allow recipients to use their limited income on other important basic needs like housing, medical costs, transportation, and utilities. We can provide information, assistance in enrollment, and help with on-line recertification in the Snap Program. Annual Chicken-Q hosted by the Crawford County Historical Society will be held at the Middle Georgia Folk Pottery Museum on Saturday, May 18th in conjunction with the Georgia JugFest and Old Knoxville Days Festival from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year’s menu will include 1/2 grilled BBQ chicken, cole slaw, chips, pickle, and sweet tea for just $7.
