In response to extreme state funding cuts the Crawford County Board of Education approved a 160 day stu dent calendar. Teachers will return on August 27th. Crawford County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Firearms Safety Training Course August 17, 2013 at the Crawford County Courthouse at 8:00 AM. SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT The Lady Eagles are hosting their Annual Lady Eagles Invitational Fastpitch Softball Tournament on Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17, 2013. Both days events will be held at the Crawford County Recreational Department fields. Fridays games will start at 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays games will start at 9:00 a.m. The Lady Eagles will be hosting teams from Putnam County, Peach County, and Thomas County Central High Schools. Admissions, per day, are $6.00 for adults, $7.00 for students is $5 and ages 8 and under are free. Or a two-day pass is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for stu dents. FUNDRAISER FOR LADY EAGLES: The Lady Eagles are having a Sunday Fundraiser September 8th at the Crawford County High School. Adult plates are $8.00 and a Childs plate $4.00. Our Lady Eagles have been working very hard on raising money to build a field house. Please come out and support our Lady Eagles once again.
